Deep Down Badjao

The Badjao live on the waters of Borneo, Sulawesi and the many islands of the Philippines. Since centuries they defy the freaks of nature: tropical heat, heavy storms and the strong waves of the Pacific. The Badjao adapted to this life. For months they sleep, eat, work on their small boats in the middle of the ocean. They became masters in fishing, hunting, diving. 

Now the Badjao people and their unique culture face a wave hardly to overcome: the wave of modernization.
